Hello world!

I feel like I’ve been skipping out on a valuable resource for both myself and whoever decides to read this part of my site.

I say it’s a valuable resource for myself because I have been reading “Show Your Work!” By Austin Kleon. He talks about showing behind the scenes of your finished work to better inform readers/viewers, as well as connecting with them on a deeper level, and to provide yourself a history of your own work.

I feel like today is a great day to share this amazing picture of my life behind the scenes.

Five years ago if you had told me that I was going to Arizona for only one year for the sole purpose of getting a diploma for audio engineering I would have looked at you like you were nuts. If you had told me that I was also going to graduate with a 3.75 and intern at Medieval Times with (my then boyfriend, now fiancee) Clayton, then I would have asked you “have the green men always told you fantasy stories or do they sometimes read Shakespeare?”

This is quite an interesting feeling to finally have the diploma I’ve been waiting for, for so long. We finished that part of our lives, like a blip that is now passed by, and now we’re here. Back here where we both had lived for so long before, almost like nothing had happened and it was just a time skip that we experienced.

Only time will tell where we go next. Every step is an adventure so let’s see where the next footfall lands us. 🙂
